Day 1

I've been meaning to get back into writing stuff down, and since I just stated my summer internship, I felt that it was an appropriate time to begin.

Today was my first day at DraftFCB, advertising agency downtown Chicago. I'll be working there for 10 weeks as an intern: Assistant Account Manager, on the KFC account. Its super exciting as there is alot going on right now with new products, new campaigns, and the food business in general.

My team seems really neat. When I first met them they were on a "status" phonecall with the marketing people in HQ (louisville, KY). It was neat to listen to the many different ad components they were working on, what was good/bad/and needed editing.

I share my office (aka computer lab/tech space) with Bette and Amy, two of the interns I knew prior to starting the program. I'm real excited to get things underway and really start working.

As for now, I'm starving...so it looks like tortilini, and trying to get my cable to work.
